Yes, we care
The lockdown triggered by COVID-19 was followed by severe flooding. The lack of tourism is further exacerbating the situation. Shops on entire streets in Kathmandu have long since closed or been converted into emergency accommodation, and poverty and despair are rife.
To counteract the dying shops, we have designed a smart bag made of hemp/cotton in collaboration with our partner in Kathmandu. It comes without colouring, but is anything but colourless. By producing and transporting the bags, we can support a whole range of people in Nepal and India with work and thus an income. All proceeds go in favour of social projects in Nepal and India.
